Meet the Team
Degwekar Foundation is a team of dedicated individuals who work towards making a positive impact in the community. Led by our Chairman, Kishore Degwekar, and his wife, Dr Varsha Kishore Degwekar, our team also includes benefactors Pradeep and Aakash Degwekar, as well as advisor and project manager Avani Degwekar. Together, we strive to create a better future for all.

Support to Rotary National Integration Project, Kashmir
Rotary National Integration Project has made a significant contribution to the education of children by funding the education of children in the challenged border areas of Kashmir & This initiative has helped to provide access to education for many children who may not have had the opportunity otherwise. Degwekar Foundation are proud to financially support such a noble cause.

Scholarships and trophies for meritorious students, Jabalpur-Madhya Pradesh
The Degwekar Foundation is proud to announce the introduction of trophies and cash awards for outstanding students at Maharashtra High School in Jabalpur. This initiative honors the memory of the chairman's parents and aims to celebrate academic excellence while inspiring students to reach their full potential. The foundation is committed to continuing this tradition annually, a culture of achievement and motivation among the youth.

Construction of sanitation facilities for women, Colaba-Mumbai
Degwekar Foundation is dedicated to improving workplace sanitation for working women. In collaboration with fellow Rotarians, we proudly supported the construction of sanitation facilities for the women green staff at the United Services Club in Colaba. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a healthier and more supportive work environment for all women. Together, we can make a difference their daily lives.

Support to Paraplegic foundation, Sion-Mumbai
The Degwekar Foundation, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bombay-Powai, spread joy this Diwali by distributing gifts and provisions to the members of the Paraplegic Foundation in Sion, Mumbai. This heartfelt initiative brought smiles and warmth to those in need, embodying the true spirit of the festival. Together, we can make a difference uplift our community.

Providing meals and Diwali gifts to Asha foundation, Powai-Mumbai
The Degwekar Foundation is dedicated to providing healthy, tasty, and nutritious meals to 250 underprivileged children at Asha Foundation in Powai. This festive season, we also distributed Diwali gifts to spread joy among the children. Our commitment to this cause will continue annually on the anniversaries or birthdays of our members, reaching various locations across Mumbai. Together, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.
